Monthly newsletter for January 2021
Presidents Message
Hey Ladies! What a year it has been! With the pandemic, wildfires, working from home, etc. it has been a hard year for us all. With this new year brings us a vaccine and a new hope! Soon we will be able put 2020 behind us, and with it, all the bad that year has brought. All we can do now is keep looking forward to a better and brighter year!
We plan on implementing monthly Zoom meetings for now, and will slowly work back into in person events. If anyone has any speaker suggestions for our Zoom meetings, please let me know!
Reminder, please log into the website and set up your member profile! This is how we are displaying our membership roster publically. It is also helpful for everyone to get to know each other, and to showcase a little bit about yourself to the world! -Myranda Kelly
2020-2021 Installation
In October we welcomed in our new officers, and thanked the past officers for all their hard work and service. The Installation was held at Twisted River Saloon with a "Let's Drink to a New Tomorrow" theme! Kay passed out NAWIC face masks, and the tables were decorated with social distancing reminders, hand sanitizer, and little plastic "bugs". Incoming officers each received a style of beer in relation to their position. It was great to be able to get together to celebrate!

Shelter Care 2020
Cary Kavaas head the charge and put together an amazing Christmas for a family in need this year. We have met and exceeded all our goals for this year’s family, a young boy, along with his uncle and grandmother (and can't forget the dog!) Click through the photos below for everything our chapter was able to provide. Well done ladies, and thank you Cary for all your hard work!
